The Drifters Girl

The new musical The Drifters Girl in London starring Beverley Knight

The remarkable story behind 'The Drifters', one of the greatest vocal groups, and the woman who made them - Faye Treadwell.

It was Faye Treadwell who, alongside her husband, George Treadwell, fought for three decades to turn 'The Drifters' into a global phenomenon.

Featuring the iconic songs Save the Last Dance for Me; Under the Boardwalk; Stand by Me; and Saturday Night at the Movies.

The cast features Beverley Knight as 'Faye Treadwell'. Please note that Beverley Knight is not scheduled to perform from 18 to 23 January 2021. All casting subject to change without notice. Directed by Jonathan Church with choreography by Karen Bruce, designs by Anthony Ward and lighting by Ben Cracknell. Written by Ed Curtis.

Beverley Knight's West End stage credits include the roles of 'Emmeline Pankhurst' in Kate Prince's dance musical Sylvia at the Old Vic Theatre in 2018; 'Felicia Farrell' in Christopher Ashle's production of the musical Memphis at the Shaftesbury Theatre in 2014; and 'Rachel Marron' in Thea Sharrock's production of the stage musical The Bodyguard at the Adelphi Theatre in 2013, and the Dominion Theatre in 2016.
