Riverdance, the Irish dancing show that was originally seen for just seven minutes as a 'filler' on the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, has, over the years become a national institution.

Riverdance is composed by Bill Whelan, directed by John McColgan and produced by Moya Doherty. Riverdance is an innovative and exciting fusion of Irish and International dance including a spectacular array of talent from Spain, Russia and America propels traditional dance and music into the present day, capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures. There are a number of Riverdance Companies touring the world. The Riverdance Corrib Company is touring the UK from April to July 2007 while The Riverdance Foyle Company tours Ireland during the Summer 2007.
