The Jungle Book

The world's first major stage production of Rudyard Kipling’s classic story The Jungle Book comes alive in this production by the Birmingham Stage Company which is touring the UK during 2006.

The Jungle Book is Rudyard Kipling's classic story about Mowgli, a young boy who is raised in the jungle by a family of wolves. When Shere Khan the tiger swears to kill the child, Baloo and Bagheera agree to take the boy to the man village for his safety. But the jungle holds danger and surprises for them all and Mowgli's amazing adventure has just begun!

This live action stage adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's classic story The Jungle Book has been adapted for the stage by Stuart Paterson with direction by Graeme Messer, designs by Jackie Trousdale, lighting by Jason Taylor, new music by BB Cooper, lyrics by Barb Jungr, sound by Glenn Beckley and choreography by Kenn Oldfield.
