Grumpy Old Women - Live!
Following the sell out UK tour in 2006, which included a run in London's West End, the Grumpy Old Women are back on the road in 2007 touring by popular Grumpy demand. Starring Denis Black, Britt Ekland and Dillie Keane. (Casting subject to change).
"This rampaging, rumbustious show is tailor-made for women" The Daily Mail
Have you reached that certain age? Are you more likely to be shaking your rolling pin than your booty? Are you a little bit hot, a little bit hairy? Then join the Grumpy Old Women for a live grump fest. Three furious females take to the stage for an orgy of middle aged mayhem, 90 minutes of theatrical HRT with not a thong in sight. Treading the boards and making them creak across the country, watch out, the Grumpy Old Women are coming to a theatre near you... Don't forget your bifocals. Grumpy Old Women Live is written by Jenny Eclair and Judith Holder. The stage production is directed by Hannah Chissick.

The 2007 Uk Tour of Grumpy Old Women Live stars Denise Black, Britt Ekland and Dillie Keane.
Denise Black is, by her own admission, a superb actress. She wouldn't be grumpy at all if it weren't for other people. She is probably best known for starring as hairdresser Denise Osbourne in Coronation Street, a role she played from 1992 until 1996, with a brief comeback to woo Ken again this year. Prior to her career on screen, Denise had - and continues to have - a passionate interest in theatre and music. Her first job was with the Actor's Touring Company, performing plays around the globe, including the South American continent, Israel, Greece, Yugoslavia and the Orkney Islands. Denise currently lives in Brighton - the graveyard of ambition - with husband Paul, children Sam and Dandy and two dogs.
Internationally acknowledged as one of the world's most beautiful women, Britt Ekland was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Her career was launched at the age of fifteen when she appeared in a toothpaste commercial. She then attended drama school for two years and gained acting experience as a member of a touring theatre company. A small role in an Alberto Sordi movie in Sweden led to her first feature, Il Commendante, in Rome. The next stop was in London for the lead in the television drama, A Cold Peace. Then it was back to Rome to star with Peter Sellers in After the Fox, directed by Vittorio De Sica. Britt has since starred in over thirty feature films and has made countless television appearances around the world. Britt Ekland is a proud Patron of the Alzheimer's Society.
Dillie Keane has been a show off since childhood and her family were very happy that she found a career that paid her for it. Most famously she founded the international cabaret trio, Fascinating Aida, who played six seasons in London's West End, various runs off-Broadway New, plus San Francisco, Singapore, Kenya, New Zealand and several tours of Australia including a month at the Sydney Opera House. Fascinating Aida were nominated for three Olivier Awards and a Drama Desk Award in New York. Dillie's television and film credits include Grumpy Old Women (BBC TWO) and little else that anyone would remember. In fact, most of them were so appalling that she has erased them from her own memory. Last year, she was awarded a Doctorate of Letters by the University of Portsmouth as an acknowledgement of her career in the theatre and also for her continuing links with the city. She is very pleased to be a patron of the Kings Theatre, Southsea, where she grew up and didn't realise she was at school with Denise Black.
