The scriptwriter and creator of Dirty Dancing, Eleanor Bergstein, says: "In our fifth year in London, it was astounding for me to sit amid our audiences, many of whom I discovered had planned long in advance and travelled far to see us. It is a special pleasure then for us to plan a production that will have the chance both to visit and thank those who have travelled so far to see us, and to take our show to those who could not make the journey."
