Dancing on Ice Tour 2011

Skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean embark on their fifth live Dancing on Ice Tour along with a new line-up of celebrity skaters to perform dazzling routines. At each performance the audience can vote for their favourite celebrity skater.

At each of the Dancing on Ice Tour 2011 shows you, the audeince, can use your mobile phones to text vote for their favourite celebrity - these votes will then be added to scores from the Judges to decide the overall celebrity winner with the winning couple taking to the ice for a magical finale performance (All profits from text voting go to charity). More than £100,000 has been raised to date by the live tour which in previous years has been donated to the Royal London Society For The Blind and Demelza Hospice Care for Children. A DVD of the 2010 Dancing on Ice Live Tour is being released on 29 November 2010.


Dancing on Ice Tour 2010

Torvill and Dean's Dancing On Ice the live arena show returns in 2010 as it visits seven venues across the UK during April and May. Once again celebrities and professional skating couples look set to cut up and melt the ice across the country. The judging panel will appear live at every night of the tour, making their comments, giving their scores, and helping to decide the ultimate winner at each performance. But don't forget - YOU can be a judge too! Arena audiences will have the chance to vote. Replicating the format of the TV show, you'll be able to use your mobile to text in your favourite celebrity dancing couple - with all profits from text voting going to charity.

Dancing on Ice Tour 2009

After wowing more than 500,000 people across the country in 2007 and 2008 with stunning ice performances, Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean will embark on a third live UK tour of Dancing on Ice this Spring. This tour will celebrate the 25th anniversary of skating legends Torvill & Dean's Olympic Gold medal win for their stunning Bolero routine at the Sarajevo Winter Olympics in 1984. They will lead an all-star celebrity line up. All of the celebrities will be trained and choreographed by Torvill and Dean, who will also perform several of their favourite routines at each performance. Olympic gold medal winner Robin Cousins will lead the panel of rink-side judges who will critique their performances. At each performance the audience will have a chance to vote for their favourite skating celebrity. Replicating the format of the hit ITV show, the audience will be able to use their mobile phones to text vote for their favourite dancing couple. The audience votes will then be added to the scores from the Judges to decide the winner. Once the votes have been counted, the winning celebrity will join their skating partner to perform a magical finale. As with the previous tours, all profits from text voting will go to charity, more than £45,000 has been raised to date.

The celebrity skaters for the 2009 Tour features rugby star Kyran Bracken wowed audiences and judges alike from his first appearance in Dancing On Ice. Having shared the pitch with an array of hulking and formidable opponents during his career with The Rugby World Cup winning squad, Kyran's ability to work with the rather more dainty Melanie Lambert (in the 2007 TV series) was touching and revealing. Kyran eventually pipped fellow competitor, Clare Buckfield, to the post in the 2007 series, becoming champion of the series. Todd Carty who has held a special place in the public's heart for many years, first as the irrepressible 'Tucker' in Grange Hill, then as 'Mark Fowler' in Eastenders, and latterly as 'Gabriel Kent' in The Bill - and now he has confirmed that he will be donning the skates and the sequins once more this April for the UK Dancing on Ice tour! Hollyoaks pin up Chris Fountain was a runner up in last year's Dancing on Ice TV show, coming second to Suzanne Shaw. He also won the Dancing on Ice Tour 2008 with an impressive 24 wins and went home with the Dancing on Ice Tour Winners Trophy for winning the most shows! (Due to long standing commitments, Chris Fountain will not be performing in any shows on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. He will perform in all shows on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays). 'Pocket rocket' Melinda Messenger lost out to Jessica Taylor in the week 6 skate-off of this year's TV show, but she has now confirmed that she will be Dancing on Ice once more... in the UK tour. Former Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett, singer Ray Quinn, television presenter Zoe Salmon, actress and singer Suzanne Shaw and Liberty X singer Jessica Taylor. In addition for the Wembley Arena only dates Donal McIntyre and his stunning dance partner Florentine Houdiniere will be performing. All casting subject to change.

It's back! Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice Tour returns in 2008. Once again all of the celebrities will be trained and choreographed by mentors Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean (who will perform several of their favourite routines at each show) all over the UK. The judging panel will be rink-side at each show to critique the celebrity routines. Olympic gold medal winner Robin Cousins will head the panel of ice judges, which includes Karen Barber, Nicky Slater and Jason Gardiner.

Chris Fountain, currently wowing audiences with his ice skating finesse, has confirmed he will continue his ice skating career after the ITV 1 series when he joins the nationwide tour when it goes on the road this April. He is joined by TV soap beauty Linda Lusardi, who has entertained the public and judges with her ice skating whirls, and plucky Coronation Street star Zaraah Abrahams, who has hit the ice running with her late entry following Michael Underwood's broken ankle. Together all three names complete the Dancing on Ice 2008 Tour cast. Other celebrities who announced their involvement in the 2008 Tour are Suzanne Shaw, Gareth Gates, reigning Dancing on Ice champion, Kyran Bracken, and actress Clare Buckfield - who narrowly missed out on being crowned ice queen last year. Bonnie Langford will also join the celebrity entourage following her huge success on the 2007 ice tour last year when she was regularly voted winner by arena audiences up and down the country. Footballing legend David Seaman who starred in the first series of the hit ITV 1 show was the first name to announce his involvement in the live ice dancing show. Andi Peters will return as compere of the live show; this a time around he will present to live audiences without the help of crutches having steered clear of the ice since his ankle break last year which he sustained during practice. He went on to present the show regardless of his injury.


Dancing on Ice Live 2007

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are bringing their popular TV show, Dancing on Ice, to the live arena in the spring of 2007. Like the TV show, Dancing on Ice Live will be an exciting celebrity ice dancing competition featuring many familiar faces from the hit TV series. The judging panel will give their views and verdicts - some popular, some not - and you the audience will be able to vote for your favourite celebrity on the night. Torvill and Dean will even be performing a few of their own favourite routines!

Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice Live stars Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean who will perform a selection of their favourite dances exclusively at each show plus displays from celebrity skating contestants involved in the TV show including Heartthrob Duncan James, former Steps star Lisa Scott-Lee, rugby legend Kyran Bracken and actress Clare Buckfield.

Torvill and Dean's Dancing On Ice Live will be hosted by Andi Peters. He will be joined by amongst others, returning contestants Bonnie Langford who made it through to last year's final and actor Stefan Booth. Aussie models Lara Bingle and Jake Wall will also take part following their success on the Australian version of Dancing On Ice last year. Please note that casting is subject to change.

The judging panel from the TV show will be rink-side to critique the performances each night. Olympic gold medal winner Robin Cousins will head the panel of ice judges, he is joined by Nicky Slater, Karen Barber and Jason 'Mr Nasty' Gardiner. Judging will be a truly interactive experience and replicate the format of the TV show. Each night of the tour the competing celebrities will perform a series of routines with their dancing partners and the arena audiences will be able to vote for their favourite couple via their mobile phones. The audience votes will be added to the scores from the TV show panel of ice judges to decide the winner.

Once the votes have been counted, the two celebrities with the highest amount of votes will join their skating partners to perform a magical finale of Torvill and Dean's Olympic Gold medal winning routine of Bolero.
