GwionI'd Do Anything Oliver finalist Gwion, who is 11 years old, is from Carmarthenshire. Congratulations Gwion - you are the first Oliver finalist to get through to the Semi Final stage! Gwion has his sights set on being a musical director and making the best musicals ever. He's a Joseph fan, also loves The Lord Of The Rings films and would love to act Oliver opposite Gary Oldman as Fagin. Will Gwion be choosen to share the title role in the new West End production of Oliver at The Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London? Saturday 29 March 2008: This week's mission for the Oliver finalists was performing some slight of hand magic that was taught to them by Paul Kieve. After they had all performed in front of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh, Andrew announced that Gwion was the first Oliver finalists to go through to the semi-finals. The following day on Sunday 30 March during the Nancy Results programme, Gwion led all the Oliver finalists in an ensemble version of 'Bright Eyes' from the film Watership Down. Saturday 5 April 2008: This week it was announced that Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh had selected Chester to go forward to the Semi Finals.
