Directions to the Aldwych Theatre from Holborn Tube Station: Take the Central or Piccadilly line to Holborn Tube Station. Follow the signs to 'Way out' and upon reaching ground level via the escalators continue walking straight on and out of the main extrance. In front of you will be a couple of street vending booths, bear to your right and cross over the road using the pedestrian traffic lights. Once over the road there will be a Sainsburys supermarket, turn left, passing Boot the chemist. Continue walking all the way down for around 600 metres - crossing over Parker Street, Great Queen Street, Wild Court, Keeley Street and Kemble Street - on reaching the end turn right into The Aldwych and the Aldwych is another 50 metres further on, on the junction with Drury Lane. In total a distance of around 650 metres, approximately a 10 minute walk.

Directions to the Aldwych Theatre from Covent Garden Tube Station: Take the Piccadilly line to Covent Garden Tube Station and take the lift to street level. On exiting the station turn right down the semi-pedestrianised James Street (towards 'The Market'), cross over Floral Street and take the next left into a 50 metre covered colonnade with shops on the left and the Covent Garden market building on the right. Follow the colonnade as it turns right (at the rear entrance to the Royal Opera House) and take the next left into Russell Street (marked Culverhay on map below). Continue walking over Bow Street and then take the next right into Catherine Street walking past the Drury Lane Theatre Royal on your left and over Tavistock Street onto The Novello Theatre on your left, here you turn left into The Adlwych, The Aldwych Theatre in another 100 metres on the left. In total a distance of around 800 metres, approximately a 12 minute walk.
