The exhibition Star Wars in London presents original film props, models, art, vehicles and costumes from the entire Star Wars Saga, showcasing the artistry and storytelling that have made the films some of the most popular in history. Featuring an array of items from the Lucasfilm Archives in California, Star Wars The Exhibition London gives visitors a rare glimpse inside the making of the epic movies. Also enjoy several interactive activities from Jedi training to a green screen simulation that puts you right into the movie! This exhibition is truly fun for all ages. The original Star Wars film was released in 1977 and featured Mark Hamill as 'Luke Skywalker', Harrison Ford as 'Han Solo', Carrie Fisher as 'Princess Leia Organa', Peter Cushing as 'Grand Moff Tarkin' Alex Guiness as 'Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi', Anthony Daniels as 'C-3PO', Kenny Baker as 'R2-D2', Peter Mayhew as 'Chewbacca' and Dave Prowse as 'Darth Vadar' with voice of 'Darth Vadad' by James Earl Jones. It was directed by George Lucas. This original Star Wars film was renamed Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope and was re-released in 1997 with re-mixed sound, some scenes improved with digital technology and some footage added. The second film released was The Empire Strikes Back in 1980. The cast once again featured Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher. This movie was renamed Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back. The third film was released in 1983 under the title Return of the Jedi which once again re-united Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher. This film was renamed Star Wars Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. These three films made up the original Star Wars Trilogy. In 1999 a new Star Wars Trilogy was started. This trilogy covered the events leading up to the original 1977 movie. The first, released in 1999 was called Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace and featured Liam Neeson as 'Qui-Gon Jinn, Ewan McGregor as 'Obi-Wan Kenobi', Natalie Portman as 'Queen Amidala / Padme' and Jake Lloyd as 'Anakin Skywalker'. The second was released in 2002 under the title Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones which again featured Ewan McGregor as 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' and Natalie Portman as 'Padme Amidala' along with Hayden Christensen as 'Anakin Skywalker'. The third, and final, movie, Star Wars Epsidoe III - Revenge of the Sith was released in 2005 and reunited Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen.
