Play previewed 9 February 2010, opened 11 February 2010, closed 6 March 2010 at the Trafalgar Studios 2 in London.

Floriano kills a Prince and flees. Erifila escapes an abhorrent arranged marriage. Uncertain of their futures they take refuge in Valencia's famed asylum. Locked up with fools and physicians they become entangled in the convolutions of a glorious farce. A beguiling and hilarious pageant of love, madness and mistaken identity.

Lope de Vega's play Madness In Valencia translated by David Johnston and directed by Simon Evans transfers to the Trafalgar Studios following an acclaimed season at The White Bear Theatre in South London for which the show was named as Time Out Magazine's 'Top Critics' Choice' and 'Show of the Week'.
