I want to be able to touch people in audience with my performance and with the right attitude and support I can do it."
Saturday 2 June 2007: This was the sixth week of the live Grease is the Word knock-out television show. This week was the 'Sandy' Semi Finals when the four remaining Sandy finalists - Alison Crawford, Michelle Antrobus, Susan McFadden and Vicky Hoyles - performed solo and two where knocked-out, leaving just two to go forward to the Grand Final next week. First each finalist sung an Uptempo song - Alison sung 'Better the Devil You Know' and David Ian told he after: "You're a great all-rounder. However, you might not be a Sandy" while David Gest said: "Your singing is weak, your dancing is weak, your acting is weak." After each of the four finalists had sung their Uptempo song, the Judges had to make a decision on who would be the first to be knocked out this evening - they decided to knock out Alison Crawford.

Therefore this week Alison was paired with Danny Rhodes. The song theme this week was love songs and Alison and Danny sung the song 'When You're Gone'. When all the public telephone votes had been added up it was announced that Alison and Danny had come in the bottom two, along with Lauren and Bradley - thus these two couples had to face each other in the dreaded sing-off, when the judges could save only one pair. The song this week, which both couples had to sing as if they where playing Sandy and Danny, was the classic Grease song 'You're The One That I Want'. After both couples had sung the song, Sinitta, on behalf of the Judges, said that they wanted to save Alison and Danny, thus they both return for the next programme.
